This job is without question, one of the most important jobs in the county.

The Drain Commissioner is responsible to ensure that our water stays clean and our land is not eroded or polluted. This takes good planning and fair management. Responsible management is good for everyone. Charlevoix County deserves and needs a responsible, responsive, 21st century Drain Commissioner. JoAnne will take this job very seriously, and put our watershed, health, and future FIRST.
